The Forest Products Development Center (FPDC) is located within the College of Forestry, Wildlife, and Environment, but the Director has expanded to include partners in architecture, engineering, agriculture, and forestry. Our mission is to discover, innovate, and publicize new research and product development for industry, government, society, and students in the area of forestry and forest products. We provide extension-aligned programming for stakeholders in the state of Alabama and beyond.
